Student Concept Introduction
of the
Water Cycle
Gather as a whole group to discuss your findings from the exploration phase.
Compare, debate, and interpret the findings of other groups.

The entire class will discuss the Water Cycle using the terms, precipitation, condensation, and evaporation.   Look at the example above.  The earth's water cycle works much like our exploration activities.

Key Terms:
Precipitation - to condense as vapor into rain, snow, and drop
Condensation - to form a liquid from a vapor
Evaporation - to change into a vapor or vanish
Transpiration - to give off moisture through pours
